Metadata, your way
Compose the metadata sent to SharePoint inside SAP® with a graphical drag & drop designer — no development. Update it in real time, on a schedule, or on demand.
Use Microsoft SharePoint as the content server and repository for SAP — out of the box. Our connector speaks ArchiveLink and CMIS, so SAP stores, finds and views documents directly in SharePoint Online or on-premise.
We have built in the features that matter and made them fully configurable, so most projects need no custom development. Over the years we deliberately reduced complexity, so the connector stays easy to understand and to run yourself.
Compose the metadata sent to SharePoint inside SAP® with a graphical drag & drop designer — no development. Update it in real time, on a schedule, or on demand.
Build n-level folder trees from your SAP® metadata to organise the library — or keep documents flat at root level. Generic and single-level structures are supported too.
View documents in the SAP® window or directly in SharePoint® online. Split content across libraries for confidential and public documents. SAP® * and defined classes (PDF, TIF…) are all supported.
Compatible with virtually all SAP® and SharePoint® releases — S/4HANA, NetWeaver, Solution Manager, GTS, APO, CRM — including Business Objects, FIORI and SAP PLM Document Info Records.
Use SharePoint® Document Sets and Content Types — on their own or together with the folder strategy. Fully driven by your SAP metadata, so no further implementation is required.
Beyond ArchiveLink, the connector also speaks the CMIS 1.1 browser binding — the open OASIS standard — so your content stays interoperable well beyond SharePoint.

Your documents live in SharePoint as the backend repository, together with the index information that belongs to each file. Find your files not only in SAP® but search for them in SharePoint, link your own lists, and manage access with standard SharePoint features.
Connect SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. Prefer a managed setup? We also offer an Azure-hosted option — see our Cloud Connector website.
Run the connector inside your own data center with SharePoint Server on-premise — or have us host it for you, including Azure-based scenarios.

Tailor the metadata to your SAP settings with our unique drag & drop customizing. React to changes in minutes and keep the flexibility you need — no developers required, which keeps roll-out budgets low.
Pull all the details from your SAP business object, so documents in SharePoint are identifiable by SAP number, vendor, customer and more.
Customize metadata for FIORI-based attachments and for SAP PLM Document Info Records (DIR) just as easily.
One connector across your systems — classic ArchiveLink or the open CMIS standard, in the cloud or on-premise.
A single point of contact for every question — SharePoint or SAP, whichever module you integrate. CaRD was founded in 1994 and has been an SAP and Microsoft partner for many years.
We connect your SAP system to SharePoint and back. Our technical consultants check the requirements and steer the project so the integration goes live on time and on budget.
Short on time? We handle the first setup and installation, and we are happy to show you how everything works — so you can decide whether we run it or you take it in your own hands.
The connector already covers most use cases and is fully customizable. For special requirements beyond the standard, we build customer-specific integrations and developments.

CaRD was founded in 1994 and specialises in SAP® consulting, implementation and development. We built one of the first SAP® + SharePoint® ArchiveLink integrations back in 2007 — and have refined it ever since to match the latest ArchiveLink® and SharePoint® capabilities.
Our connector is in use by customers around the globe, across every time zone, managing millions of documents day after day. We also bring deep expertise in SAP data migration — system splits, harmonisations and merges, for master and transactional data alike.
Tell us about your SAP and SharePoint landscape and we will get back to you with the right next step — a demo, a quote or simply answers.
